In Puerto Rico, July 10th no longer goes unnoticed by those involved in the growing medical cannabis ecosystem. Known as "Concentrate Day" or "710 Day," this date celebrates the advancements and culture surrounding cannabis extracts such as oils, waxes, and resins—essential tools for many patients seeking relief.

The name “710” is no coincidence: when rotated, it spells “OIL,” a direct reference to oil concentrates. Although it originated in the United States as an underground celebration, it has gradually gained popularity in Puerto Rico, driven by an industry increasingly committed to innovation, safety, and quality.
During this day, discounts are not the only benefit; education is also provided on extraction methods, therapeutic efficacy, and responsible consumption. It is a key moment to highlight the work of laboratories and growers who, within the legal framework, are raising the standards of cannabis medicine on the island.

Interestingly, when the initial cost of Sens Culture magazine was calculated, it was estimated at $7.10. Although it has always been completely FREE for our readers and costs have changed, we have kept that number as a symbol at the heart of this celebration and what it represents for the cannabis community.

Nearly a decade after the medicinal program began, the 710 plant stands as a testament to the scientific, educational, and economic progress it brings. And as if that weren't enough, this year, July 10th, coincides with a full moon.
So, whether you're reflecting, in company, or just relaxing, we invite you to look up at the sky and enjoy the full moon... while savoring your favorite concentrate.
