When it comes to dedication and hard work in turning a goal into reality, we can look to the Earthgift dispensary family as an example. Just two years after opening their second dispensary, and in the midst of a pandemic that impacted people's lives around the world, Earthgift is back on track with the simultaneous opening of three more dispensaries in the eastern part of the country.
We, Mr. Sens, director of Sens Culture Magazine, joined the celebration and were invited to spend the day with the three owners: Roberto Soto del Cueto, grower and general manager Enrique Domínguez, and president Luis González, all from the Caribbean Medical Cannabis Center (CMCC) corporation, which oversees the Earthgift dispensaries in Puerto Rico. We visited the new dispensaries and had a memorable day, where, amidst conversations and leisure time between dispensaries, they shared new goals and projects they are developing. I can tell you it's incredible to witness the beginning of this Puerto Rican company and see how they've gotten this far and what's still to come. Furthermore, I'll give you an inside look: I saw Earthgift #6, which is in the works, and I can tell you it's exciting to be part of the process. I can't tell you anything more, but they have a real spring in their lab.
The opening was officially announced on Thursday, May 6, 2021, for the general public in Luquillo, Humacao, and Caguas. This comes amidst two additional celebrations, as Earthgift won first place in the Island's Favorite Dispensary category at the Florece Awards , held on April 2020. During the event, Earthgift 's artisanal cultivation was also recognized thanks to the Denver Maple strain, developed in collaboration with Puerto Rico Alchemy, which won the awards for Best Shatter Concentrate and Best Living Death Vaporizer. “We are incredibly happy because we always see the positive side of every aspect and circumstance in life. In the midst of this pandemic, our goal was to provide health and service to our patients in the best way possible, within the legal and hygiene parameters that this industry and the emergency demanded and continue to demand,” stated Luis González.

These three dispensaries are opening thanks to an entirely Puerto Rican investment of $800,000. They will add 30 full-time jobs and about 15 subcontracted jobs to the local workforce. González always listens to the needs of his patients; therefore, more than just a business, he seeks to offer accessibility and the best products and services.
So, these three dispensaries also come with a new license. CMCC Corporation now holds a transportation license, which will allow them to move their products between their own dispensaries and transport their flowers to manufacturers as quickly and efficiently as possible. Enrique Domínguez stated, “The time invested and intense dedication to our flowers, from artisanal cultivation to selecting the best products available on the Puerto Rican market for our patients, has paid off and always will.” He added, “Just two years ago, we developed the Denver Maple strain thanks to a design by Ballpark Holistic of Colorado. Today, it exists exclusively at Earthgift Puerto Rico and has already become the best concentrate on the island.”

Earthgift dispensaries are located in Carolina, Trujillo Alto, and the new ones in Caguas, Luquillo, and Humacao. This represents a total investment of $1.5 million and a workforce of 60 direct and over 100 indirect jobs. The Caguas dispensary is located in Plaza Degetau (787-238-6664). The Luquillo dispensary is located in Plaza Luquillo (787-439-5050), and the Humacao dispensary can be found on the Marginal Highway across from the Home Depot at Plaza Palma Real (787-457-6060).
The corporation's attorney, Roberto Soto del Cueto, indicated that future plans include opening two more dispensaries this year and becoming lead consultants on education, processes, and products for a large, 30,000-square-foot indoor grow operation soon to open in San Juan. These entrepreneurs' powerful minds are not resting, and they are already setting their sights on other parts of the world so that the "green drop" of Puerto Rico can leave a significant mark in other countries.
Earthgift 's first medical cannabis dispensary opened in June 2017 in Carolina, and the second in April 2019 in Trujillo Alto. All five dispensaries operate as franchises, ensuring a consistent professional image and high-quality products. The finest cannabis from Puerto Rican manufacturers is selected.
