CONNECT WITH YOUR INNER SELF AND TRANSFORM UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCES INTO LEARNING

Cannabis has always had two sides: for some, it's a stigma; for others, a tool for deep connection. In my experience, it became a mirror, showing me aspects of myself that needed attention, even in uncomfortable moments, like paranoia. It's very easy to label uncomfortable feelings as negative. But what if, instead of rejecting them, we saw them as a door inviting us to explore?
I wondered: What is this trying to teach me? Over time, I learned that these challenging moments are actually precious opportunities to release old patterns, confront fears, and embrace with more love who I truly am. Cannabis, like any tool for self-knowledge, needs to be used with intention. Its power lies in the terpenes and cannabinoids it contains. Among the most appropriate terpenes for an introspective experience, I would highlight linalool, known for reducing anxiety and promoting a state of introspective calm; pinene, ideal for increasing mental clarity and delving deeper into thoughts; and myrcene, perfect for relaxing both body and mind, facilitating a peaceful inner exploration.
Opting for low or moderate doses of THC (5-15%) fosters a more introspective experience, while higher doses can trigger anxiety if you're not prepared. Furthermore, a balanced combination of THC and CBD (10-20%) can reduce the likelihood of paranoia, helping you stay calm amidst any discomfort. Since I started using CM, I've treated my experience as a conscious experiment. I've noted which terpenes and cannabinoid percentages helped me or pushed me out of my comfort zone, as well as the emotions I felt before and after consumption. Every moment taught me something valuable.
TIPS FOR STAYING CALM IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS
Submerging your face in ice water: This strategy activates the parasympathetic system, promoting calmness and mental clarity.
- Conscious breathing exercise: Close your eyes and imagine a triangle. Inhale through your nose for 3 seconds, exhale through your nose, and then hold your breath for another 3 seconds. Repeat this cycle to find serenity.
Using cannabis as a tool requires space, intention, and a willingness to meditate, listen, and allow emotions to flow freely. It's not about seeking magical answers, but about opening the doors to who we already are. However, it's important to consider medical or psychological supervision, especially if there's a history of severe anxiety or emotional disorders. Listen to your body, trust your intuition, and remember that every experience has something valuable to teach you, even when you're facing discomfort.
