FLYING GINGERBREAD COOKIES | FOOD CULTURE | SMOKE-FREE - By: Chef Jimbo

Hey everyone!

Costume season is here, and the aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, sugar, ginger, and cloves—those things that remind us of Christmas when we inhale them—are just around the corner.

These days, food and desserts are the order of the day. But the most important thing is that families come together during this time, and sometimes those friends you haven't seen in a while reconnect and share time together again.

But… who doesn't like dressing up as a dinosaur or alien after feeling relaxed with a little THC in their system… or munching on Thanksgiving Day… hahaha I love it… and I know many of you do too.

Remember that the important thing during this time is to live in the present and share those moments with your loved ones without stress or anxiety.

That's why in this edition I'm going to share a recipe that everyone will love... classic gingerbread cookies.

You can mold these into little spiders and snakes for Halloween, or the classic little people. Get creative with them and make them with love so those good vibes reach your endocannabinoid system.

Well, have a good time, be careful while you're out and about, and also enjoy a Thanksgiving Day as it's supposed to be, full of love and good memories.

And remember… Consume consciously… I love you all, good vibes… Peace!

FLYING GINGERBREAD COOKIES.

Ingredients:

3 1/4 cups of flour

¾ cup unsalted cannabis butter

½ cup of brown sugar

½ cup of molasses

1 egg

1 tablespoon of fresh ginger

1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla

¾ teaspoon of baking soda

¾ teaspoon ground cloves

½ teaspoon of kosher salt

½ teaspoon of nutmeg (grated or ground)

Icing Ingredients:

2 cups of powdered sugar

3 tablespoons of milk

¼ teaspoon vanilla

Procedure:

Add the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, baking soda, ginger, and cloves to a large bowl and mix until the ingredients are well combined.

In another clean container, mix the cannabis butter and sugar at high speed with an electric mixer for two minutes.

Now add the egg, vanilla, molasses and reduce the speed of the electric mixer to medium, mix the ingredients for another two minutes.

Reduce the speed to low, slowly incorporate all the flour into the dough.

Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough, then place it on a baking sheet to cool for at least two hours before proceeding. You can use more flour to prevent the dough from sticking.

At this point we're going to start cutting the dough with whatever cookie cutters you want.

Preheat the oven to 350 F

We bake the small cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. If you want to make a giant cookie, bake it for 15 to 20 minutes.

Once the cookies have been baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool before preparing the icing.

Add all the frosting ingredients to a container and then mix them with a rubber spatula until smooth.

Fill a piping bag and use any tips you like.

We let the cookies cool for at least an hour before applying the icing so that it hardens and doesn't soak into the cookie.

I hope you enjoy it and remember to always consume consciously.

Congratulations!
