I'm writing this column from my balcony, with a chilly Christmas feeling and feeling quite happy after taking my medication.

Have you noticed that everything containing cannabis is labeled "happy" or "reward"? Have you tried the happy drinks or the reward brownies? It's all about happiness and gifts. Perfect pairing for this Christmas; well, perfect pairing anytime.

Happy Holidays! And what better way to celebrate than with cannabis, which keeps us conscious and improves our quality of life. During this time of year when so much is abused, I wonder, why is something that does us the least harm less legal? Or even more importantly, how can something that actually benefits us be made illegal?

We could ask the mothers of the children whose quality of life has improved, and it's a little infuriating that common sense isn't always so common. Celebrate responsibly with cannabis among family and friends, and if you can, give the gift of happiness to your loved ones.

Happy Holidays! Yes! That's what I think. Giving cannabis as a gift, in any form, is an exchange of happiness. If you know someone who already benefits from this sacred ally, surprise them during the holidays with a little something. Remember, something happy, something rewarding.

Happiness and gifts for everyone! And much happiness for those who need the plant to avoid being like zombies on opiates. May these holidays be even happier, and may any gift we receive come with a bonus.
