A tribute to our columnists and allies in Puerto Rico's cannabis culture.
Thanks to a team of columnists who have made this platform a channel for expression, empowerment, and knowledge, we have reached thousands of readers who now see cannabis in a new light. Each of them contributes their experience, sensitivity, and passion to nurture this ever-growing community. Here, we highlight their work and celebrate their commitment to the Sens Culture mission.
MR. SENS – CHIEF EDITOR
It all started with a master's thesis, a sea of ideas, and the creation of a health, education, and wellness magazine. Mr. Sens, as he's known in the cannabis industry, is the heart of Cannabis Lifestyle magazine. From finding the right people to be the voices of "The Family That Makes Sense," to building the best relationships with each and every person who has trusted Sens to take their brands to the next level, he's been incredibly grateful for the support! Here's to many more years!
CHEF JIMBO – SMOKE FREE
From the world of cannabis, Chef Jimbo has revolutionized the way we consume it with creativity and purpose. Sin Humo offers recipes, tips, and plenty of culinary passion. “I’ve been with Sens since day one, and there’s no better place to share my love for edibles.”
CAMILLE PÉREZ – CANNA GLAMOUR Psychologist, yoga instructor, and entrepreneur, Camille integrates cannabis into wellness and self-care practices. Canna Glamour is a space where emotional health, lifestyle, and holistic healing merge. “Sens has connected me with patients, professionals, and like-minded individuals.”
ENRIQUE – SOWING
As a Master Grower, Enrique shares his experience cultivating with purpose. Siembra is a technical, accessible, and essential resource for growers and those curious about cannabis. “Sens provides an ideal space to teach the different ways to plant and care for cannabis plants.”
JUAN ALICEA – VETERANS
A retired veteran and director of the pro-medical cannabis chapter for veterans, Juan has been involved with this community since his participation in issue #4 of Sens Culture, driven by a clear purpose: “To highlight how cannabis can improve the lives of those who have served, helping them cope with physical and emotional conditions. This family makes sense.”
VERO VERO – GREEN TIPS
Consultant, coach, and activist, Vero leads initiatives like CACPR for a more patient-friendly industry. Her column offers tips, experiences, and social activism. “Sens has been a balm for my activist voice. There's plenty more Vero Vero to come!”
EILEEN CESTARY – HEALTH WITH MEANING
With her experience as a nurse and founder of Cannabic Nurse, Eileen provides clear education on the medicinal use of cannabis. In her column, she connects especially with older adults. “Through Sens, I reach those who need this information the most.”
ALEXANDRA SUÁREZ – HIGH MOMMAS
Formulator and educator Alexandra uses her platform to debunk myths about cannabis-using mothers. Through High Mommas, she provides guidance on cannabis use during pregnancy. “Sens gave me the platform to debunk myths, educate, and support other mothers.”
RAÚL MANGUAL – THE VIOLET DOOR
From distributing cannabis equipment and accessories, Raúl offers constant innovation. La Puerta Violeta presents the latest for conscious consumption. “Sens gave me the opportunity to contribute to cannabis culture from a functional and technical perspective.”
SHENI MARTÍNEZ – CANNASEX
Certified sexologist specializing in cannabis and sexuality, Sheni transforms taboos into knowledge. Cannasex explores how cannabis can enhance intimacy and pleasure. “Sens allowed me to reach the heart of an industry that is still exploring its therapeutic potential.”
YALIRA CRESPO – GANJA TWIST
A communicator, cannabis enthusiast, and film lover, Yalira blends entertainment recommendations with cannabis wellness. At Ganja Twist, she promotes responsible use with a maternal and creative voice. “Sens has allowed me to expand my mission of educating and entertaining at the same time.”
Mr. Gabriel Sifre – Cannaley
With his solid legal background and experience in multiple jurisdictions, Gabriel offers a clear and educational perspective on cannabis regulation. His column, CannaLey, contributes to building a more ethical and informed industry. “Thanks to Sens Culture, I have been able to amplify the legal history of cannabis in Puerto Rico.”
LUCAS BULGALÁ – WEB3
A specialist in blockchain and data analytics, Lucas bridges the gap between technology and healthcare. His column illustrates how digital tools can optimize the patient experience. “Thanks to Sens, my message reaches a community eager for innovation.”
GIOVANNI PÉREZ – CANNA FITNESS
Known as Cannafitt, Giovanni is a certified trainer, budtender, influencer, and passionate advocate for cannabis education. Thanks to Sens Culture, he has been able to raise awareness of his mission: “To educate people about how medicinal cannabis, combined with exercise, can improve quality of life. We share studies, combinations, and benefits that support this powerful synergy.”
RAFAEL BALLESTER - LABORATORY
Quality Director at NovaCann Labs, always bringing direct knowledge to patients and cannabis product owners in Puerto Rico. “At Sens, we have always found a space to educate and guide for the benefit of patients, ensuring they have clear and transparent results.”
WANDA CAPOSSIELLO – HEMP CULTURE
Wanda has been an essential voice in hemp education in Puerto Rico. Her column encourages readers to discover natural paths to wellness and supports women who want to start businesses in the hemp industry. “Sens Culture has been a great ally in my mission to empower through nature.”
DANIEL FERNÁNDEZ – WEEDTECH
Daniel, CEO and co-founder of DIST, is a pioneer in cannabis consumption technology. He recently joined the Sens Culture family with his WeedTech platform, dedicated to educating consumers, brands, and partners about the future of cannabis technology. Daniel promotes safer, more efficient, and more conscious consumption, highlighting innovations that are transforming the cannabis experience.
DR. JAIME CLAUDIO – MEDICINE
A renowned family physician in Puerto Rico and creator of the "Tu Medicina" product line, Dr. Jaime Claudio has helped hundreds of patients through medical cannabis. Today, as part of Sens Culture, he contributes his clinical and scientific expertise to promote responsible, informed, and compassionate use.
