Medicinal Cannabis and its Benefits Against Cancer | Canna Glamour by Cami Camers

Greetings Sens Family, I'm back again and hope you're all doing well. In this new edition #17, I'll be talking about medicinal cannabis and the benefits it provides for cancer patients. Physically, it helps increase appetite, alleviate pain, insomnia, muscle relaxation, nausea, vomiting, and relieve peripheral neuropathy induced by chemotherapy. Psychological effects include disinhibition, relaxation, spirituality, acceptance, happiness, a desire to laugh, and relief from depression.

Cannabis has the potential to modulate some of the most prevalent symptoms of cancer, whether stemming from the tumor itself or from cancer treatments. This natural treatment offered by the plant alleviates the most common and debilitating symptoms caused by this disease. Cancer pain is usually the most difficult symptom to treat in cancer patients. The patient's psychological well-being is also extremely important.

It helps reduce anxiety, fear, mood swings, and depression that may be caused by the illness and the chemotherapy process. Multiple studies have shown that the presence of cannabinoids such as THC, Delta 9, CBD, and others is extremely beneficial. THC, in particular, causes an increase in the production of an enzyme called AMPK. This enzyme is fundamental for the metabolic processes that regulate energy homeostasis in the body. I want to dedicate this edition to two very special people who fought this disease and are no longer with us. They inspired me to address this topic in this edition, to raise awareness and share knowledge.

Until next time, I love you all!!

Your friend and psychologist who is always at your service.
